Due to an injury of shooting guard Marcus Thornton, The Hornets have signed an active one. Jason Hart will wear hornets jersey. The contract is last to 10-day.
A hard fall in the fourth-quarter of the Hornets' loss to Oklahoma City on Wednesday left Thornton with a lower-back contusion that was expected to keep him out of Friday night's home game against Philadelphia. hornton has been averaging 10.9 points. With Chris Paul’s(notes) knee injury, the Hornets will try to stay in the Western Conference playoff race without their starting backcourt.
Thornton is recovering day by day.
